Muhammad the messenger ; our contemporary

Muhammad the messenger
Quite a lot of millions of people speak about that name and millions of hearts are devoted to the name several times every day . Since one thousand and four hundred and twenty five years ago; his name is remembered "5 times , in dawn at noon , in the after noon, in the evening and at night, the caller of prayers mentions his name from this time on till the end of the world .
Islam , Muhammad's religion didn't take a long time to spread out everywhere because Allah had completed the Islamic religion before the death of Muhmmad . By that time Muhammad sent to the emperor the Persians and to Hercules; the emperor of the Romans - messages to inform them about the new religion , and to the other kings and princes to be Muslims.
Through only hundred and fifty years the banners of Islam were flurrying from Spain in the west of Europe till India and china in the east of Asia . Consequently, Islam reached Levant, Iraq, Persia and Afghanistan ,likewise Islam reached Egypt. Libya , Tunisia , Algeria and Morocco .
The flags of Islam are still hovering every where except in Spain which Christianity tortured the Muslims there who had to come back to Africa again. However, what Islam lost in Spain had been compensated when the Ottoman had opened Constantinople . Islam extended to the whole Balkan and in a great port of Russia .
Since the propagation of Islam , no religion overcame it, on the contrary , Islam is increasing in Europe everyday .
But Islam , through history stood face to face before Christianity . Muhammad eradicated paganism and polytheism from the countries of the Arab and the successor of Muhammad erased Christianity in Yemen, Levant and in Egypt. The fight between the followers of the Christ and those of Muhammad for centuries in wars and in controversial debates .
In fact, the Muslims put Issa, the Christ in honorable position, He is "Allah's slave given the book, made him prophet, he was asked to pray and to give alms and to be good to his mother and Allah didn't make him a rough man, peace be on him when he was born and when he is dead and when he is resurrected again .
As for the Christians, some of them attributed bad names to Muhammad , describing him despicably . Although the crusade wars ended a long time ago, yet the fanaticism of the
Christian church is still tough on Muhammad.
The differentiation between Islam and Christianity is great. Islam avowed the prophecy of Jesus whereas Christianity didn't admit the prophecy of Muhammad . Christianity believed in trinity but Islam believes in monotheism . the Christians made deification of the Christ . They gave evidences to that when the Christ spoke when he was born and was given a lot of miracles
when he cured the patients and survived a man after his death . and created birds from mud .
The Quran admitted all these things which were the characteristics of Allah . The Christians of Muhammad's time were arguing him and thought that Issa was a God with Allah .
Some other Christians thought Jesus to be Allah himself. Others believed that he is the son of God . The Quran said that Issa is like Adam ; was created from earth and was said Be and he is . But Islam is the religion of monism. There was another difference between the Muslims and the Christians in conception , That was the falsification of the Christ . The Christians thought that the Christ sacrificed himself to save the sins of the creatures . The Quran is clear in assuring that the Jews killed the Christ or crucified him . If the idea of sacrificing himself to save the sins of others is considered to be poetically and psychologically terrific , the Quran determine, that everyone's sin is only his own sin, no other one bears it. Everybody , in Doomsday is rewarded what he had done whether it is good or evil .
The reason of the hostility between Islam and Christianity the ignorance of the west with the reality of Islam . This ignorance pushed the west to be bigoted and to wage wars on Islam . There is another reason which is that Christianity with its seclusion of life . deprivation of the pleasures of life , clemency and forgiveness and other sublime meanings didn't fit the nature
of the west who lived on the multiplication site led it to the life of roughness and struggle the cold weather and the turbulent conditions .
Christianity didn't bridge the gap between the abstract and the concrete or the soul and the body .
The Christians spoilt the spiritual proportion which the religion make a link of a chain of unity which had been carried out completely by Islam . This unity which matches between the soul and the body and marries passion to the mind and behave
universe both of them befitted together properly in the endlessness of time and place .
This reason resulted in the over piety and in atheism in the same time . Overweighing of fanaticism and bottomless strife .
The Arab peninsula remained a secured oasis away from the two opposing powers , the power of Christianity and the Persian empire; the worshippers of fire . The traditional powers of the east and the west - surrounding the peninsula - every powers coveted to extend in colonising it , all the clergymen in each religion wanted to spread its creed. They only succeeded in pulling some borders of the peninsula . The geographical site and the nature of the Arabs affected their lives . manners and tendencies .
The geographical site of the peninsula is rectangular , Palestine is situated in its north and Levant desert as well .
Tigris , Euphrates, and the Persian gulf in the east . the Indian ocean and Aden gulf in the south and the Red Sea in the west. This site is fortified by the sea in the west and the south, the desert is in the north and the desert again and the Persian gulf from the east.
This fortified site expelled the idea of the colonial conquest or religious invasion . The expansion of its survey is another factor, more than one thousand in length and another in width . Besides the sterility of the land drove any thought "of colonilisation . No river of any kind nor stable rains to depend on them for cultivation or organising industry . All the peninsula was full of mountains and barren valleys , except Yemen which was famous for its fertile lands and heavy rains . This rough land doesn't bring civilisation . It encourages only a life of wandering ; taking the camel as a means of transport, moving again to another meadows .
Moreover , this geographical site rescued it from impoverishment. In those ancient times people didn't take to the sea as ships for their trade or traveling . So , the peninsula was a route for commerce . The trading caravans were marching through the peninsula . There were two main routes; one is approaching the Persian Gulf , Tigris, going through the Levant desert to Palestine. It was called the East Route . The other one was drawing near the Red Sea . It was called the west Route . Through these routes the products of the west were transported to the east and the manufactures of the east were transmitted to the west . Therefore there were luxury and prosperity in the peninsula .
The basis of the life of the nomads is the tribe and the wandering . They didn't admit any established laws . Only freedom for the individual, the family and the tribe . Generosity, hospitality, courage , protecting the neighborhood and forgiving the mistaken when possible , all these attributes appeared in bedwin life . These bedwin qualifications affected , to some extent, the little countries scattered in the desert like Mecca, El Ta'ef and Yathreb, - Medina , later on .
Yemen was affected by Christianity and Judaism because civilisation is born where there are fertility and stability, that was manifested in Yemen . There was a political system in Yemen their king Zi Nawas tended to the religion of Moses , he took it from the Jews who migrated to Yemen but some of the people in Nagran followed a man called Quinon who was Christian when Zi Nawas was told about him, he obliged these people to get back to Judaism once more . He dug a rift and burnt these people down in fire . One of these people managed to run away to the Caesar of the Romans ; Justinian who wrote a message to Nagashi ; the Abyssinian king who sent an army led by Abraha conquering Yemen and appointed himself a king .
This Abraha ; he who invaded Mecca to demolish Kaba , but he failed disgracefully . When Abraha's son ruled Yemen
tyrantly and oppressingly , Seif Ebn Zi Yazen went to the king
of the Romans but he didn't listen to him carefully because of the coalition between the Roman king and El Nagashi.Seif Ebn Zi Yazen had to go to El No'man Ebn El Monzer who had a buffer state in El Hira , the Persian king sent with him an army headed by wahrez . The Persians conquered Yemen and evacuated the Abyssinians and ruled Yemen for seventy two years . Yemen remained under the sovereignty of Persia until Islam broke out and all the Arab countries entered the religion of Islam . So , for the reasons above mentioned, neither the kings of the Romans nor those of Persia think of conquering the Arab peninsula . The merchants who came to the little towns all over the peninsula used to have some rest in these little towns. Bringing some Idols , thanking them for surviving and saving them from the dangers of the desert ; the natural environment of the political and social conditions had a similar effect in the religious field in the peninsula . The natural life of the nomads is different from that in the Urban . Man in the Bedouin life is connected with the endless existence of the universe , while the man in the city is busy and connected with the government and its protection in return for some concessions of his freedom .
The Arabs saw the disputes between the Christian controversy of the nature of the Christ and Miriam and who is more divine than the other? There were religious controversies.
in Levant , Abyssinia ,Iraq and Yemen of course , they didn't like to tranquilise this tension among the Christians . As a matter of fact the Arabs carried on their connections with the Christians in Levant and those who were in Yemen in the form of the two journeys of winter and summer and their commercial treatments with the Abyssinians . The Arabs were sure of their polytheism ; following their parents' trends . The worship of the idols was boosting as a result . paganism was spreading in other nations as well ; in Egypt and in Greece . These idols and craven images whether they were inside Kaba or around it were considered to be the mediator between its worship and the Greater God . They thought these idols approach them to God , little by little , they forgot worshipping God.
Although Yemen was the most civilised port in the peninsula because of its fertility and heavy rains , Yet Mecca with its Kaba ; Ismail 's house was the shrine of the pilgrimages favourable to all the people and the merchants , it was the center of all the Arab trade and the capital of the peninsula . then, it turned out to be the birth place of the Arab prophet Muhammad; adding a special importance of its position on the regard of the whole world and gained divinity to its ancient house and Quriesh continued having a sublime post.
In the middle of the route of the caravans passing through along the Red Sea between Yemen and Palestine, there were several series of mountains which were about eight Kilometers far from the shore and it is surrounded by a small valley . In this valley Mecca is situated . Thousands of years ago, the traders of the caravans took it as a rest house because there were some springs there . They set up tents to have relaxation whether they were coming from Yemen going forward to Palestine's or those who were coming, from Palestine to Yemen .
It was known that Ismail son of Ibrahim was the first one to have taken a house in Mecca after it was only a station for the caravans and a market of trade exchanging the goods from the south with the east.
The father of Ismail was Ibrahim who was born in Iraq whose father was a carpenter making wooden Idols and he was selling them to the people to worship them . When Ibrahim broke the Idols the polytheists made a great fire to burn him but Allah saved him . Ibrahim went to Palestine accompanying his wife Sarah and left for Egypt which was ruled by the Giant Kings. Ibrahim told the king that Sarah was his sister because he knew that king could have taken Sarah aggressively if he had known that she was his wife and could have killed Ibrahim . The king told Ibrahim he was sorry and gave him some presents. Hagar was one these gifts . Sarah didn't bear any children . She asked Ibrahim to marry Hagar. At once she gave birth to Ismail soon after that Sarah had a baby , Isaac. The Jewish historian said that the" slaughtered "was Isaac not Ismail . In fact it was Ismail who was the slaughtered" because in the old testament the slaughtered was described as Ibrahim's the lonely son and Ismail was the lonely son till the birth of Isaac . Isaac stayed with his mother in Palestine and he never went to Mecca but the slay and the sacrifice took place on Mena- a small hill in Mecca. . Sarah was jealous of Hagar, she thought Hagar was only a slave and she was the lady . She swore she wouldn't stay with Hagar when she saw Ismail was beating his brother . Ibrahim decided to let Hagar and her son move to a far place to the valley where Mecca was situated, of course Ibrahim was inspired by Allah to leave his wife and his Son Ismail alone providing them with some supplies . Ibrahim went back home . When Hagar ran out of water . her son was extremely thirsty . She hurried down the valley looking for water, to and fro, between El Safa and El Marwa . She did that seven time. When she returned to her son she found the water sprang beside her son's feet, she addressed the spring . - Zimmi. Zimmi , oh you blessed .
' Zimmi' means oh you water get down . so that it could be within their reach .
Other tribes nearby asked their permission to set up their tents near them . It was said 'Gorhom' to be first tribes that settled there. When Ismail grew up , he Married a maid from Gorhom. but his father came to visit his son and advised him to change his wife . Ismail married another girl and divorced the other one because she didn't show hospitality to his father . Ismail's marriage was fruitful . He had a progeny ; they were the fathers of the Arabs ; the Arabised Arabs , who belonged from the side of their uncles in Gorhom to the Arabic Arabs, Sons of Yorob Ebn Kantian . As for Ismail affiliation from the side of his mother belonged to Egypt and from the side of his lather to Iraq and Palestine . Both Ibrahim and Ismail built up Kaba, to be the house of Allah for the people to go to safely . In time , Kaba became the house of the Idols . The worship of the stars were spreading in the Arabs , these worshippers of the stars said they didn't worship them for its sake , In the beginning they had worshipped Allah Alone , and they glorified the stars as one of this creation . People forgot the sublime Omniscient Allah and worshipped the stars as gods . Not only that but people imagined some volcanic stones..-were falling down from heaven,
descending from some of the stars which were demonstrations of them and were divined as a result; then the stones were divined for its sake , the worship of the stones appeared . The Arab didn't suffice to worship the stones in Kaba , but they took some stones with them when traveling and consulted them for making any projects or making journeys, they should have their blessed permission in the first place . Even Herodott the father of the written history spoke about the worship of El lat1 in the country of the Arabs . Notwithstanding some prophets invoked the Arab tribes to monotheism , there were mentioned in the Quran such as Hood, people of' Ad , Saleh , people of Thamoud and Sho'ayb, people of Median, the peoples were all perished because they refused to worship Allah alone and stuck to their paganism .
Gorhom ruled Mecca after they had defeated the Giants till the era of Moddad Amr Ebn El Hareth . The trade in Mecca flourished boostingly . Through the course of generations , the prosperous luxuriant people forgot that they were living in a barren valley and the water of Zamzam ran out besides the Arab of Goza' a thought in seizing the prerogatives of the divined country . When Moddad realised that their sovereignty and influence will be declined he started to dig the spring of Zamzam deeply and put two bags full of gold and a lot of money inside the spring and covered it with sand hoping to return to it when the conditions are better. He left Mecca
taking with him the sons of Ismail .Goza'a ruled Mecca and
inherited the influence till Quossie's possession of the rule of the
country .
Quossie's mother was Fatma daughter of Saad Ebn Sahl , she was married to Kelab and had a daughter, Zahra and Quossie . Kelab died when Quossie was a baby, Fatma married another one; Rabe'a Ebn Haram . They left to the Levant where she gave birth to Derag. Quossie grew up, thinking that his father was Rabe'a . He had some troubles wit his folk . They insulted him, informing him that he wasn't one of them and he belonged to some neighbourhood else. He complained to his mother , she told him he was better than them since he belonged to a folk in Mecca at the divine house and his father was Kelab Ebn Morra . Quossie, immediately went to Mecca and stayed there , he did his best in Commerce and he was worthy of respect . By that time, the house was headed byHoliel Ebn Shieyah . He was a shrewd man, he married his daughter to Quossie. His fortune increased and had a lot of children . After the death of Holiel, he inherited the key of the divine house to his daughter Hobieya . She apologized and gave the key to Abu Gheshan from Goza'a but he was a drunken man who had to sell the key of the House to Quossie.
Goza'a was jealous of Quossie's position in Quriesh they wanted to drive him away .
Quossie stimulated the enthusiasm of Quriesh to support
him against Goza'a . some tribes thought that Quossie to be the
most wise and the most powerful of all , so they joined him and
evacuated Goza'a from Mecca . All the prerogatives of the
House were under the hands of him and avowed his sovereignty
He was possessing the watering of the pilgrimages which was
scanty in Mecca . providing them with supplies of nourishment.
He was given the symposium , the forum all the year round; to preside the meeting when necessary . Also . he was given the
military banner set up as a sign of fight their enemies and to head over the armies .
Quossie ordered Quriesh to build houses around Mecca . He was the first one who put up a Symposium where the lords of Mecca meet under his command to consult and discuss their country's affairs . No man or woman could be married unless they consent . Therefore Quriesh took the permission from quossie to build their houses around Kaba leaving quite enough space for the people to go round their shrine that was in the middle of the fifteenth century .
'Abdul Dar' was the eldest son of Quossie , but his brother 'Abd Manaf proceeded his brother in honour before the people .
Quossie got older and weak , he couldn't command Mecca's affairs any longer . He passed the key of the House and the provision of water and food and the banner of the armies to Abdul Dar, yet the sons of Abd Manaf were more honourable in their folk . So , Hashim. Abd Shams , El Moteleb and Nofal, sons of Abd Manaf determined to lake possession of what their cousins got . Quriesh was divided into two opinions . Sons of Abd Manaf held the Ally of the Aromaticized' . they brought aroma from Kaba and swore not to break their ally.
Sons of Abd El Dar held the 'Ally of the Allies' they were about to wage war a ; Quriesh would have been perished . They decided to give Abd Manaf the watering and the hosting
and sons of Abd El Dar to master the key of the house , the banner of the armies and the symposium. The two teams agreed on this convention till the coming of Islam . ,
Hashim , being the wealthiest and the honourable , took the watering and the hosting and invoked his folk, like his ' grandfather Quossie to extract each of them some money to spend on feeding the pilgrims during the season of the pilgrimage .
Once ,there was sterility during the barren year that took place to Quriesh . Hashim brought the food and made burgoo for them. It was Hashim who established the two Journeys, the winter one and the summer's for them . The winter journey to Yemen and the summer journey to Levant .These economical demonstrations led to the prosperity and boosting of Mecca all around the peninsula . This flourish pushed sons of Abd Manaf to hold treatments of peace and security with their neighbours . Hashim himself held a treatment of good neighbourhood and well intentions with the Roman Empire and obtained permission from the emperor for Quriesh to travel to Levant in peace . Moreover Abd Shams held a commercial treatment with the king of Abyssinia , from his part , Nofal held a trading agreement with Persia . All the trade and products of all sorts from all over the ancient world poured in Mecca which set up main markets to distribute these goods . That is why the people of Mecca were skillful at transactional treatments and Usury . Omiya Ebn Abd Shams wanted to Share his uncle Hashim ruling Mecca but he couldn't . He left for Levant and stayed there for ten Years . While Hashim was passing through Yathreb coming back from Levant , he saw an honourable woman supervising her trade, she was called Salma daughter of Amr from Khazrag . He married her and she lived with him in Mecca for sometime , but she wanted to go to back home to Medina , (Yathreb ). She gave birth to a son called Shiba who stayed with his mother . Hashim died in Gaza during one of his summer journeys . His brother El Moteleb succeeded him, all Quriesh liked him because he was very kind and generous.
One day, El Moteleb thought of his nephew, he went to Yathreb and asked Salma to give him back the lad. El Moteleb rode his camel back , the youngman was riding behind him . On entering Mecca , Quriesh thought the boy to be El Moteleb's slave so, he was called Abd ( slave) El Moteleb ever since .
El Moteleb wished to return his nephew's money inherited from his father ; Hashim . but Nofal refused to give back the money and seized it. When Abd El Moteleb grew a man, he went to Yathreb and demanded his uncles to help him restore his money . Eighty knights came from Khazrag to stand with him . Nofal was obliged to give him back the money and he took the posts of watering and hosting the pilgrims . He had tribulation in bringing the water from some wells near for Kaba He had only one son El Hareth . He thought if he had more sons, work would have been easier, the Arabs kept on remembering the well of Zamzam which was sprung under Ismail's feet and it was covered with sand by Moddad Ebn Amr from Gorhom, centuries ago. They wished it had been still there . Abd El Moteleb was the most person who was pondering over Zamzam. He was obsessed by this idea . This obsession haunted him . he and El Hareth kept on searching for it till they found itt between the two Idols 'Issaf and 'Na'ela' the two bags of gold and the sword of 'Moddad.
Quriesh wanted to share him the well and the treasure , but he won the pledge and nailed the swords and the two gold bags on the door of the House ; Kaba, just as a means of ornament.
Abd El Moteleb felt the lack of his children . He supplicated to God if he had ten sons , he would slaughter one of them. at Kaba, now, when having ten of men , he had to fulfill his promise . He invited them to fulfill his oath , they obeyed him. everyone wrote his name on a goblet ; who did the pledge or the bet inside Kaba ; that was an Arabic tradition when some one in a fix and bewildered . he had to resort to the sorcer to consult the greatest stone gods who was 'Hobal'. Abdallah Ebn Abd El Moteleb was his youngest son but most favourite . When the gobleteer chose a goblet, he found the name of Abdallah . Abd El Moteleb took him to be slaughtered at Zamzam where the Arabs used to slay their sacrifices there . All Quriesh was furious and begged him not to do that , he hesitated , but what he can do? . They persuaded him to check a fortune teller. she was an old woman in Yathreb . She asked them to wait till the following day , then she said :

- How much ransom do you pay?
- Ten of camels .
- Go back to your country and strike a goblet for him and another for the camels and if the name of Abdallah came out, increase the number of the camels till it comes out on the camels till your God be satisfied .
Then the name of Abdallah came out and the camels were doubled till they became a hundred , then the pledge was on the camels . Abd El Moteleb wasn't convinced until it was repeated three times so that he could be sure that Allah was satisfied . Abd El Moteleb was contented , he fulfilled his vow and banqueted to everyone even the vultures and the wild animals were nourished on top of the mountains around Mecca .
In 570 A.D . It was called the year of the Elephant. Abraha El Ashram was jealous of the sublime lofty position of Kaba where no pilgrimage is consummated without it. He decided to build up a House in Yemen . He took care immensely of the decoration of his house to appeal the Arabs to visit it . In vain Abraha's house took the position of Kaba' . When the Arab repulsed his house , he decided to debris Kaba . for this reason he prepared a terrifying army head by a huge elephant to pull Kaba down .
On approaching Mecca, Abraha envoyed a man from his army with some horsemen to violate their fortunes, there were a hundred camels for Abel El Moteleb among the spoils . the people of Mecca thought of fighting him but they found out that they couldn't afford it. Abraha sent a messenger called 'Honata' to Abd El Moteleb who informed him that Abraha didn't come to fight them , he only wanted to destroy Kaba . Abd El Moteleb went with some lords of Mecca to meet Abraha who offered him hospitality and returned his camels , but Abraha insisted on demolishing Kaba , although Abd El Moteleb persuaded him to take the third of Tohama's fortunes , but Abraha refused .
Abd El Moteleb went back home flatly and advised his people to go up the hills to avoid the fearful army on entering the sacred House to devastate it . Abd El Moteleb took some prominent folk and went to the sacred House and caught the ring of the door of Kaba supplicating to God to preserve His house an to let the aggressing army to go back to Yemen again . God responded to Abd EL Moteleb's prayers and all the army was perished by means of birds carrying pebbles from Seggel - a place in hell - dropped on the army . Not only that but the disease of small box spread over the army . Soon Abraha was dead pulling out to Yemen again . This prodigious event increased the religious position of Mecca, its commercial post augmented as a result . Mecca , in fact, was full of prosperity and fabulous luxury in this desert land.
They were interested badly in wine . they felt inaccessible pleasure in releasing their lusts and purchasing concubines and women to mollify their thirst for sensational fun. They were careful about their individual freedom and their town's freedom and they were ready to defend this freedom by all means . They were doing their spree and fun on the centre of the town around Kaba.
The magnates of Quriesh and the prominent folk of Mecca were sitting amusing themselves and listening to the news of the other countries in Yemen and Levant. Every tribe had a reporte, narrating the news of the neighbours and friends . Every tribe had senior idols and many other junior ones . It was the country of heathenism and polytheism . It was forbidden for any Jewish or Christian to enter Mecca unless he was a worker and it was decreed sinful. to speak about his religion in Mecca, that is why there were not any Jewish nor Christian missionaries like the Jewish ones in 'Yathreb' or the Christian missionaries in Nagran. It was independent by itself , life was nothing without this independence and the same thing for any tribe, not to associate with other tribe to make greater coalition with the Romans or the Persians . It was only the unit of the nomad enjoying in its
shadow the meadows ; leading a rough life but independently and proudly .
Abd El Moteleb was over seventy years old when he thought of marrying his son Abdallah - the ransomed and the redeemed youngman who was very handsome to Amena daughter of Wahab Ebn Abd Manaf Ebn Zahra . Abd El Moteleb went to their place and engaged Amena to his son .
Abdallah married her and stayed at her place for three days as it was the customs of the Arab , then he moved to his father's place . No sooner had he married her, than he set off on to Levant with the commercial caravan and she was pregnant with Muhammad - peace be upon him - On his way home he went to his uncles in Medina to have some rest . He felt very sick there, his comrades left him and came back to Mecca and told his father about his illness . Abd El Moteleb envoyed his elder son El Hareth to go to Medina to see his brother.
Arriving there, he was told that Abdallah was dead a month ago and he was buried there . He returned to Mecca and told his father about the death of Abdallah .
Abd El Moteleb was very sad and his heart broke for the death of his son . Abdallah left behind five camels, a flock of sheep and a slave maid . um Ayman. His governess later on . This fortune was not big but enough for a youngman who would have been wealthier, if he had lived longer.
Soon Amena gave birth to a baby boy , rapturously the old man entered Kaba and called him Muhammad . This name was not much circulating in the Arabs but it was known and common .
Amena waited the wet nurses ; the breast feeders from Bani Saad to give them her son as usual customs of the lords of the Arabs . While waiting the wet nurses Thowiaba ; his uncle's maid - she breast fed Muhammad as well as his uncle Hamza, because Abd El Moteleb got married Hala ; Amena's cousin the very day of Abdallah's marriage to Amena . Although the breast feeding was few days, Muhammad kept asking about her and tried to get in touch with Thowiaba as long as she lived .
The breast feeders came from Bani Saad to Mecca, seeking children to breast feed them . They rejected the orphans because they didn't expect much from their parents . Although ' Halima El Saadia didn't accept Muhammad at first . but she hated to go back with her friends without choosing one and set off with Muhammad to the nomad . She said she found blessing since she brought him with her; her sheep got fat and their milk increased .
Muhammad stayed in Bani Saad till the age of five, breathing the fresh air of the desert, the freedom spirit, the psychological independence and learning from this tribe the Arab language purely .
He even said to his friends , Later on, " I'm the Arabest. I'm qurieshan and my incubation was in Bani Saad Ebn Bakr ? These five years had the prettiest effect and Halima and her folk remained dearest and favourite to him all his life long . One year after his marriage to khadija , a stricken sterility afflicted the people . Halima came to his place and he bestowed her a camel carrying fresh water and forty sheep . Whenever she comes he stretched to her his raiment out of respect . -El Shieymaa, her daughter was among the captures with sons of 'Hawasin' after the siege of El Ta'ef . When she was brought to Muhammad , he recognised her and was generous with her and sent her back home as she wished . Amena set out to Medina to let Muhammad see his uncles of his grandfather ; from sons of El Nagar . She took with her um Ayman; the maid . She showed him the place where his father was buried . She stayed a month there , then she decided to get back to Mecca . On their way home she got sick in El 'Abwa'a , she was dead and buried there. um Ayman returned home with the child weeping alone the loss of his father and mother.
What makes the matter worse was the death of Abd El Motel ; while Muhammad was only eight years old .
The death of Abd El Moteleb was even a tough strike on the sons of Hashim altogether. No one of his sons could replace his

position . He had exceeded them in magnanimity . authenticity, hospitality and his impression on all the Arabs . Didn't he feed the pilgrims , watering them and was generous and charitable with them if they came across an evil event. if they were rich , they would be careful about their fortunes. Hence the sons of 'Omiya' were ready to take the position, they were eager to hold without fearing sons of Hashim .
His uncle Abu Taleb took charge of Muhammad although he wasn't the elder son, it was El Hareth, but he wasn't as much rich as them . El Abbass was the wealthiest, but he was more careful about his money , He only took charge of watering without hosting the pilgrims . If Abu Taleb was poorer yet he was nobler and more generous and respectable .
In fact, Abu Taleb loved Muhammad very much and he was even dearer to him than his own children . One day he wanted to set out to Levant for trading when Muhammad was twelve years old. Muhammad wanted to go with his uncle but he declined at first for fear of the hardships of travel and crossing the desert. Muhammad insisted to go with his uncle who agreed at once .
During this journey . he came across with 'Bohiera' the Monk who saw the marks of prophecy on Muhammad . We are told that this Monk exhorted Abu Taleb and advised him not to get into Levant completely , for fear of the Jews who might injure him if they recognized him . On this journey Muhammad set his sight on the vast desert, and the stars in the clear sky. He came across Madien and the valley of 'Kora' and ruins of Thamoud . He listened to the Arabs talking about these ruins and its past . He stood at the burgeoning parks of Levant which couldn't be compared with the gardens of El Ta'ef . He knew about the news about the Romans and the fighting hostility between them and the Persians and their worship to fire and the book of the Christians though Muhammad was twelve years old. yet he had a grotesque spirit , gorgeous mind , accurate observance and admirable memory and the like of that qualities which God bestowed him to pave the way for the great message.
Probably Abu Taleb didn't earn much time and preferred to stay at Mecca taking care of his children as much as he could .
Muhammad stayed with his uncle satisfied with his lot . If the inhibited Months' Where no fighting . he may stay with his folk in Mecca, or going out with them to the markets in 'Okkaz', 'Magna' or zi El Magaz listening to the recitation of eloquent poetry, devouring their fecundity in courting poetry or their pride of their affiliation and extraction ; their hospitality and charitableness . listening as well to the speeches of the orators among them were the Jewish and the Christians who showed abhorrence to the Arabs because of their heathenism and they were talking about the books of Issa and Moses and inviting them to believe in their religions . Muhammad was calculating all that and storing them in his mind . Allah was directing him from the very beginning to prepare him for the great day , the day of the first revelation when He asked him to proclaim his Message ; the message of the righteousness for the whole people.
In addition to acquainting the roads of the commercial caravan in the desert with his uncle Abu Taleleb and listening to the poets and the orators with his folk in the markets around Mecca during the 'inhibited ' Months' he knew likewise how to use the weapons . He stood beside his uncles in the war of El' Fegar' , it was called so, because it took place in the inhibited months when the Arab tribes refrain from fighting and hold their commercial markets in Okkaz near El Ta'ef, in 'Magana' and Zi Magaz' near 'Arafat' to exchange trade and for boasting and debating, they were performing pilgrimage after words at their idols in Kaba .
However, El Barad En Quiess from Kenana didn't respect this sacred inhibition . He took 'Orwa' Ebn Ottaba from Hawazen by surprise and killed him ; the reason for that was El 'No'man Ebn El Monzer' used to envoy every year a caravan from El ' Hira' to Okkaz carrying the musk and swapping it with leather, ropes and the ornated textiles of Yemen . EI Barad offered himself to lead the Caravan under the protection of his tribe 'Kenana' . From his turn, Orwa from Hawazen offered himself as well. El Barad got furious and wanted to revenge . He killed Orwa and Violated his Caravan . Then, he was told that Hawazen will take its retaliation from Quriesh . Hawazen ran after Quriesh before they entered the Divine House . They fought each other and Quriesh retreated to the House . Hawazen exhorted them that the war would be in the following year in Okkaz . This war remained for years , but it ended to a special reconciliation of the nomads that to pay ransom to those whose Killings were less to those whose numbers are more . Quriesh paid twenty ransoms of twenty men from Hawazen .
The war of El 'Fegar' was lasting only few days every year . As for the rest of the years they go back to their work and the war didn't leave any acrimony behind . they go back to trade, usury , spreeing and having all sorts of fun .
After the Fegar war, Quriesh felt that their position among the Arabs began to decrease and especially after the death of Hashim and Abd El Moteleb .The Arabs wanted to take its post. It was vulnerable to the greed and avidity to the others . El Zobeir Ebn Abd El Moteleb invoked sons of Hashim , Zahra,
and assigned to the house of Abdallah Ebn God' an .
He made food for them . They gave their oath to make an alliance to be with the oppressed to give his right back . This ally was called El'Foudool . Muhammad attended this ally and praised it. Muhammad was a shepherd . this act of pasture for his folk and for the sheep of Mecca's people made him meditate and contemplate in the whole universe . By day ; to enjoy the fresh air and by night to see the twinkling stars; glorifying the creator of this picturesque universe and seeking an explanation to all these different natural phenomena of the globe .
He remembered these days happily, he said , Allah didn't send a prophet but he is a shepherd , " Moses is a shepherd, David is a shepherd and I'm sent as a shepherd to my folk's sheep in 'Agiyad'
Abu Taleb was a poor man and had a lot of children . He wanted his nephew to earn more money better than shepherding . He was told that Khadija ; daughter of Khouiled renting men from Quriesh for her trade . Khadija was an honourable woman and very wealthy . She used to rent men trading for her . What increased her fortune was that she was from sons of Assad . married twice from sons of Makhzoom . her father Khouiled supervised her trade as well as with some of her relatives she trusted . She revoked many engagements from some magnates of Quriesh because she believed that they were looking only at her fortune . Abu Taleb went to her when he knew she was preparing a caravan to go to Levant for her trade . He asked her to rent Muhammad in return for four virgin camels and she agreed willingly . Muhammad went with 'Meissara' Khadija's lad in the route of the desert passing through the valley of Kora ; Madien' and ruins of Thamoud , the same places he passed with his uncle when he was twelve years old .
Through his honesty and competence . Muhammad traded with Khadija's money prominently and earned more profitably than any one else did before . His good manners and lovely rectitude gained Meissra's love. He bought for khadija all what she recommended from Levant's commerce when the caravan went back , it passed El Zahran1 Meissara told Muhammad he would hurry up to Khadija to inform her about his commercial wins .
Muhammad set off and entered Mecca at noon while Khadija was sitting in a lofty attic of hers . She saw him on his camel, she got down and welcomed him and listened to him narrating eloquently the news of the profits, and what he brought of this Levant's trade manufacturings . She was listening charmingly infatuated . Later, to Meissara , to tell her about Muhammad's virtues , magnanimity and his lenience . This prodded her to stick to him . She couldn't help falling in love with him while she was forty , - she who repulsed the most honourable and the most rich from Quriesh - wished to marry this youngman whose sights and words pierced the centre of her heart . She told her sister and her friend Nafissa who hurried immediately and said to him :
- What stops you from marriage ?.
- 1 don't have what 1 marry with .
- If you are excused that and invited to beauty, money , honour and efficacy . won't you respond ?. - Who is she?, he said .
Nafissa said only one word .
He accepted that at once and Khadija hurried to define the time of his attendance with his uncle to consummate the marriage . her uncle Omar Ebn Assad married her to Muhammad because Khouiled was dead before the war of El 'Fegar' .
Here Muhammad is turning a new Leaf . A life of marriage and paternity .
He married her after giving her twenty virgin camels as a dowry . Muhammad was handsome , broad shoulders , not too tall or too short, his head was huge, his hair was black , his colour was white, straight front , having two strong eye brows almost connected to each other, wide eyes, some reddish colour tarnish the white part what made them more attractive , long eye lashes , slender straight nose , his teeth were a little apart in the middle, heavy beard, good looking long neck, Both legs and hands were enhanced , walking forward with his body .
Contemplations and meditation over looked his features, commanding looks obliging people to subject to him .
Now he had the lofty affiliation and the immense fortune . Yet, he was modest with people and mixed with them as he used to do before . He was listening to his addresser carefully and never turned his face away . He spoke little and listened much . He tended to the serious speech . He didn't laugh loudly . He restrained his anger. He was patient with people , loyal to them.
Most generous and charitable . He had a strong will . He didn't know fluctuation or hesitation . He didn't stop mingling with people or sharing their life . By that time , people were worried about what happened" to Kaba' . A great torrent coming down from the mountains caused its walls to be cracked down. people were superstitious about Kaba , so , they didn't want to build it or rebuild it again, for fear of invisible evil might have happened to them , but they must do something for Kaba . At the same time, there was a wreckage for a ship owned by a Roman trader whose name was Bochum who was a builder and a carpenter.
when Quriesh heard about this , El Waleed Ebn El Moguera with some people from Quriesh went to Jeddah and sold the ship from the Roman-they spoke to him if he could come with them to help rebuild Kaba . Before that there was a Coptic who knew Carpentry , he agreed to work for them with Bachum.
Quriesh divided Kaba into four side, each tribe had to destroy it and to set it up again . People were afraid of demolishing it lest any harm might happen to them . Fearfully El Waleed Ebn El Moguera pulled down some part of the Yemen Corner . People waited what would happen to El Waleed . Nothing happened to him and began to destroy and carry the stones . Muhammad was carrying the stones with them . Quriesh carried the blue granite stones from the nearby mountains and started to build until it was the stature of a man and the had to pose the divine black stone in its place of the eastern side, there was a turbulent dissension in the tribes which one would have the honour to pose the stone in this place .There was logger-heads and vendetta; a civil war was about to take place .
Sons of Abd El Dar allied with sons of Oder to prevent any tribe to have this great honour . Abu Omiya Ebn El Moguera from Makhzoom realised the great hazard, he was older and more honourable . they stipulated that anybody who would first enter from the Safa door would judge among them . When they saw Muhammad the first comer; they said ! this is the honest, we accepted his judgment.
He said : - Give me an attire .
They gave him one , spread it and carried the stone and put it down the attire . He told them every chief of each tribe to take a part of the attire , when they reached the position of the place, Muhammad took it and posed it in its place so the dispute finished and evil had gone away . Quriesh completed the construction of Kaba and put ' Hobal' the god as well as the treasures.
This dissension between the tribes from one part and coalition from other part to accept Muhammad to judge among them showed that the sovereignty and authority of Mecca began to decline . This break-up led to more freedom to people to speak their minds loudly and shadenfreude from the part of the Jewish and the Christians and they began to gloat over the Arabs for their worshiping the graven images. This gnawed the divinity of the idols . They kept on showing reverence to the idols superficially . Worshipping the idols in Kaba conserves the established religion a means to adjust the discipline and to preserve the commercial and religious post of Mecca, this can be influenced when some great people ; Zeid Ebn Amr , Ottoman Ebn El Howierth, Obeid Allah Ebn Gahsh and Waraka Ebn Nofal, they concluded to each other - Your folk are having wronged aberration , they go round a stone which can't hear or see, and can't do harm or do good, streams of blood of the sacrifices ran over it . You folk seek another religion -
