The Trench Conquest ( El Khandak ) ( the Coalitions )

In this conquest , we can see many manifestations of democracy from the part of Muhammad ; the messenger . The Jews Banu El Nadeer in Medina betrayed the accord made between them and the messenger . He went to Banu El Nadeer with his friends , but the Jews wanted to throw a rock on him . The messenger was told about their conspiracy. He went back to Medina . The messenger envoyed Muhammad Ebn Mussalama to tell them to leave the city because they showed betrayal . He said :

The messenger said ; you are put off for ten days Anyone of you if seen after that , will be killed. They consulted the head of hypocrisy ; Abdullah Ebn Obei Ebn Salol , They made up their minds to declare mutiny and preparation for war inside their reinforced fortifications .

They sent their leader Hoiei Ebn Akhtab to the messenger saying :

- we won’t get out of our homes . Do as you wish . the army of the Muslims besieged them until they get tired . they sent someone to the messenger telling him that :

- we get out of the city .

He requested them to get out of the city carrying their baggage and money as much as the camels can carry , except their weapons , they will be kept behind .

They left for Khabeir , some others went to Levant . Their lords who went to Khabeir were Salam Ebn Abu El Hakik , Kenana Ebn El Rabe’ Ebn Abu El Hakik and Hoiei Ebn Akhtab .

The messenger said :

-these are in their folks as honorable as Banu El Mogera in Quriesh .

These lords of Banu El Nadeer had rancor in their hearts because of the forced departure of their lands . They didn’t forget what the messenger did with them .

They thought to go to Quriesh and the other Arabian tribes to make a coalition against the messenger ; to persuade them to fight the Muslims and eradicate them before they became too strong over the whole Arabian country .

When they reached Mecca , they were received welcomingly by the lords of Quriesh . In the symposium of “ El Nadwa “ . the negotiations wee done to wage war against the messenger . they said :

- we will be with you till we terminate him .

the new religion of Muhammad occupied their minds they asked the Jews :

-You folks of the Jews , you had the first Book , you are people of letters , tell us which religion is better ours or Muhammad’s? . Although they knew the correct answer , they said :

- your religion is better than his .

Ironically , the people of the first Book , who realized the message of monotheism alleged that Paganism is better than the worship of one God .

It is delusion deserves damnation . God damned them in the Quran . Quriesh was pleased at what the Jews said . They prepared themselves for war . They convened in the house of the “ forum “ Hakim Ebn Hazam , Abu Sofian Ebn Harb, Safwan Ebn Omeiya and sons of El Mogera were plotting against the messenger of Islam .

Kenana Ebn Abu El Hakik went to the sons of Ghadafan persuading them to fight the messenger on condition that they get half the dates of Khabeir . He informed them that Quriesh agreed to go with them .

Oieina Ebn Hesn El Fazari responded to him .

The banner of war was held in the house of El Nadwa ; the banner was carried by Othman Ebn Talha whose heart was full of rancor because his father was on Ohod Day , as well as his two uncles and his four brothers , in other words he was eager to revenge .

Quriesh set off presided by Abu Sofian Ebn Harb . they were four thousand persons , having three hundred horses and one thousand camels .

They went to Morr El Zahran . they met sons of Sleem . They ere seven hundred presided by Sofian Ebn Abd Shams an ally to Harb Ebn Omeiya . Sons of Assad led by Toleiha Ebn Khoiyeld El Assdi . Ghadafan and Fazara were having one thousand camels led by Oieynna Ebn Hesn Ebn Hoziefa , sons of Morra were four hundred led by El Hareth Ebn Auf , Ashga’ were four hundred led by Mossar Ebn Rokhiela and many others joined the army of the coalition who were ten thousand persons presided by Abu Sofian . They all set out on to Medina .

Khoza’ loved the messenger , some of them went to Medina to inform him about Quriesh and sons of El Nadeer who were on their way to Medina to finish off Islam .

When the messenger heard about this terrible news he invoked his people convene, he said :

- Shall we get out of Medina or stay at home ?

Coming out of Medina to confront this tremendous power ; the Arabs didn’t know before- was a terrible , uncertain adventure . it wasn’t easy to defend Medina . the houses were connected to each other for a long distance like a fortified wall , the northern borders were guarded by a slippery cliff , and sons of Qurieza were the last Jewish tribe remaining there guarding the back of it .

They made an accord with the messenger to participate with him to defend Medina . Could they fulfill their promise , if something wrong happens , they didn’t forget that the messenger expelled sons of Quienoka’ and sons of El Nadeer ; the most powerful Jewish tribes . the direct dilemma was the south and the east south ; the uncovered part of Medina , it is the road of El Medina gardens . It is very easy for any force to penetrate Medina and attack it . How to solve this problem ? , fifty cavaliers can’t stand against three hundred ones , three thousand fighters can’t afford well – equipped ten thousand fighters .

Salman ; the Persian had an idea , he said to the messenger :

- messenger of Allah , when we were in Persia , if we were terrified , we set up a trench around us . He suggested to dig a trench along the open front of Medina . This was something new for the Arabs ; they used to fight a man for a man . Some Muslims didn’t like the idea , they took it for cowardice , but the messenger accepted the proposition . The messenger got on his horse with his supporters to the site of the trench where he diagrammed its location .

the Muslims borrowed the digging instruments from the sons of Qurieza and began to work on the trench hard , while Salman was giving his advice . they had to finish it before Abu Sofian Ebn Harb and the coalition troops come to fight them . Abdullah Ebn Obei and the hypocrites persuaded the Muslims to go to the Jews inside their fortifications , leaving Muhammad and his friends to meet their end, but the believers refused to accept their advice .

the messenger made Abdullah Ebn Om Ma’etoom his deputy on Medina . he camped with the Muslims at the bottom of a mountain called Sala in the Medina market . The messenger carried dust with them as well as Abu Bakr and Omar.

In time , a deep , wide trench came into sight before the open side of medina , it was impossible for any horse to step over it . While Salman was digging , he found a tough rock which can’t be broken . The messenger took the Axe and said :

- By the name of God .

He struck the rock , one third of it was broken , a light flash appeared from the side of Yemen . The messenger made an alleluia he said :

- I was given the keys of Yemen . Now I can see Sanaa’s doors from my place as if they were the dogs’ fangs .

He hit the rock again , another one third was broken and a light emerged from the Romans . He praised God, he said :

- I was given the keys of Levant . I swear by God I can see their palaces . He beat the last one third , a flash lighted , he made an alleluia , he said :

- I was given the keys of Persia . I swear by God . I see the palaces of Hira and the cities of Kessra, ( their king ) as if they were the dogs’ fangs , from my place .

The hypocrites looked at each other ironically , Metab Ebn Kasheer expressed what was going on in their minds .

- don’t you wonder at what Muhammad persuade and tempt you with , . He told you he sees from Medina the palaces of Hira and the cities of Kessra , they will be opened while you are digging a trench out of fear , you can’t be appeared .

The messenger sent Soleit and Sofian Ebn Auf to see and know all about the coalition . They saw an army covers the desert moving slowly because of the great amount of weapons ; a formidable invulnerable army . They were captured and killed by Abu Sofian Ebn Harb who didn’t doubt in victory .

The messenger gave the banner of the immigrants to Zeid Ebn Hareth and he gave the banner of the supporters to Saad Ebn Obadda .

The messenger camped with his soldiers at the bottom of Sala mountain on Monday , the 8^th of Zo El Quedda. When Quriesh saw the ditch , they were taken by surprise . Their air castle were crashed . They said in anger .

-By God ,this is a trick the Arabs didn’t do . The most furious one was Hoiei Ebn Akhtab who went with sons of El Nadeer , Quriesh , Ghadafan , sons of Sleem and the tribes of the Arabs , persuading them to fight the messenger of Allah . All the way long he was daydreaming of victory . then all of a sudden , his dreams collapsed before the depth of the ditch which was separating between the coalition army and the Islam army .

Could all the efforts he exerted be in vain ? Could all these armies which he tempted by his cunning and malice to march forward - come back home again without retaliate his and their enemy ?

In Medina , there are Jews who vowed to defend with him their city . If Hoiei could manage to persuade them to break their promise, the fortifications of Medina would break down and the Muslims would be perished .

He is able to tempt sons of Qurieza to break their vow . He will persuade them that the prophet may ask them for help now , but tomorrow their destiny will be like sons of Qurieza and sons of El Nadeer ; they will be expelled . He was pleased when his thoughts came to this conclusion .

Quriesh camped at Mogama El Assial . Quadafan with the people of Naged at the side of Ohod mountain . The idolaters made the leadership by turns ; one day Abu Sofian , other day Khalid Ebn El Walid , Amr Ebn El As , Hobeira Ebn Wahb Akrema Ebn Abu Jahl , and Derar Ebn El Khatab , and so on .

Hoiei Ebn Akhtab while marching with Quriesh , he used to say to Abu Sofian .- Qurieza are people of bountiful weapons . They are seven hundred and fifty fighters. When they saw the trench and realized they couldn’t beat Muhammad unless Jews of Qurieza betrayed the treatment they had with the Muslims . Just then Abu Sofian said to the lord of El Nadeer .

- go to your folks in order to break the treatment between them and Muhammad .

Hoiei went to kab Ebn Assad , the Lord of Banu Qurieza .. He knocked at the door , Kab refused to open the door , he said :

-Hoiei , you are jinx . I made an oath with Muhammad and I won’t break it . He is loyal and sincere .

When he opened the door , Hoiei said;

- oh , Kab , I’ve come with the honor of age . I ‘v come with Quriesh and Quadafan . They vowed to me not to leave until they get rid of Muhammad and his friends .

- you have come with the humiliation of age . Muhammad is trustful and loyal . Please , Hoiei leave me alone .

He kept on tempting Kab . He swore an oath if Quriesh and Quadafan came back and didn’t kill Muhammad , he’d stay with them to live the same fate.

Some of Hoiei ‘s proposal was attractive , although it was dangerous . He called for the chiefs of his folk , they are El Zobeir Ebn Matta , Shas Ebn Ques , Azal Ebn Meimoon and Okba Ebn Zeid , they consulted together – Hoiei , for the Jews like Abu Jahl in Quriesh; the people were afraid to disobey him . They got to the conclusion to breach the vow and tore the paper in which there was the contract between them and the messenger . . They didn’t have anything but to perish the messenger and Islam –

Omar Ebn El Khatab was told the news , he came to the messenger saying :

-I ‘ m told that Banu Qurieza violated the contract and are ready to fight . It was too terrible for the messenger , since this peace violation make the whole city vulnerable to the coalition . He called for Saad Ebn Mo’az; the lord of Awess, Saad Ebn Obada ; the lord of Khazrag , , Ebn Rawaha , Khawat Ebn Kobeir and Osseid Ebn Hosseir , he said

- Set out and see is it right what we were told about the folk ? If it is right make me a gesture I know without telling the people , otherwise say it in public among people . They set off on to Banu Qurieza . They found out the Jews broke off the vow . They said ironically .

- Who is the messenger of Allah . There is no contract between us and Muhammad. Saad Ebn Mo’az insulted them , they were his allies .

They came back to the messenger and made him a gesture , he said :

- God is the Greatest , I bid you a tiding of victory of Allah and his sustain . The news traveled fast , all the people knew about it , so , they were terrified , the Muslims came to the messenger asking him for assistance , he said :

- God is our Sufficient and He is the Good Agent .

The hypocrites said to each other .

- Muhammad promised us to have the treasures of the Persians and Caesar while we are not secured to be evacuated in the desert . What Allah and his messenger promised us was in vain .

It went from bad to worse , the messenger called for Oieina Ebn Hesn El Fazari , and El Hareth Ebn Auf El Meri to give some of the coalition one third of the Medina’s fruit , provided that they go back home with fighters . They asked for half of the fruits , but the messenger insisted on one third , they accepted .

The paper and the ink were brought and Ottoman Ebn Affan wrote the reconciliation . When it came to the signature ; here is the pure teachings of democracy from the part of the messenger – he sent for Saad Ebn Mo’az and Saad Ebn Obada to consult them . they said :

- Messenger of Allah is it a command you like to make it or something God ordered you to do , or something you make it for us ? .

- If it is something from Heavens , go ahead , if it is something you are not ordered to do , but you like it , we obey , and if it is the opinion , they ( meaning Banu Qurieza ) don’t owe us nothing but the sword . the messenger said :

- If God ordered me , I wouldn’t consult you . By god , what I make is because I saw the Arabs came to you from everywhere , I only wanted to reduce their forces to somehow .

Saad said to the messenger :

- Messenger of Allah , when we were idolaters we didn’t worship God or know Him , they didn’t eat our fruits until we gave them or sold them , and when we are honored with Allah and Islam , God directed us to the right Track and we are prided with you , by this time to give our fortunes to them . We don’t need the Jews . By God we won’t give them but the sword till God judges between us and them .

The messenger said :

- you have that .

the messenger went back to Oieynna and El Hareth saying loudly :

- go back , the sword is between us and you .

the head chiefs of the coalition were assembling to consult how to organize the war . Banu Qurieza breached the contract , so they had to break into the trench to attack the muslims decisively . There would be a wonderful siege . ; the muslims in the middle . the jews thought the victory in their imagination. They came to a narrower place and pushed the horses to jump the trench . Amr Ebn Abd Wed , was one of the most reputed Cavalier in the Arabs . He was injured in Badr Conquest , but he fled away . He didn’t participate in Ohod Conquest . He came to delete his shame and to declare in public he is still the knight that is invulnerable , he said

- Who duels ?

Ali Ebn Abu Taleb stood up and said :

- I ‘ m for him prophet of Allah . The messenger said in pity .

- Sit down it is Amr Ebn Abd Wed .

Ali begged the messenger to give him permission , finally the messenger asked Ali to face Amr Ebn Abd Wed and gave Ali his sword “ Zo El Fokkar “.. the name of the messenger’ s sword .. and dressed him his shield . the messenger supplicated to God Saying :

- My God , you took Obieda from me on Badr Day , Hamza on Ohod Day , and this is Ali my brother and cousin . Don’t leave me alone and you are the best heirs . I beseech you God to help him .

Ali killed him . the coalition troops fled away , then assembled and decided to assault the muslims the next day .

In the morning a squadron presided by Khalid Ebn El Walid assaulted the trench . A fierce , merciless fight took place between the muslims and the idolaters .

The muslims were so preoccupied with the battle that they didn’t pray the noon , the afternoon , the evening nor the night prayer . they said ;

- we didn’t pray . the messenger answered ,

- neither did I .

the messenger was so terrified that he invoked to God .

- I beseech you God , you descend the Book . You are quick on the Doomsday , Defeat the coalition . I beseech you to defeat them and let us be victorious and break them down. He also said to the muslims :

-You people , don’t wish to confront the enemy and ask God stamina . If you face the enemy , be patient , you may know that the paradise is under the shade of swords .

Naem Ebn Massoud El Ashga’e was with his folk Ghadafan , when the coalition forces besieged the muslims .He kept on pondering on this religion which made his folk wish to confront their enemies while they are satisfied . god lighted up his heart with Islam , faith was thrown into his chest . He went to the messenger before Night prayers . .He found him praying . When the messenger saw him , he said :

-Why did you come here Naem ?

- I came to believe in you and witness what you came with is right . He was silent a while , then he said .

- Messenger of Allah , I have been muslim and my folk don’t know about my Islam . bid me what you wish .

- You are in us one man , distract and frustrate about us if you could , war is a trick .

He went to Banu Qurieza , he was their friend , he said :

- You know how much I like you , especially what was between me and you .

- True , you are not accused .

- Quriesh and Ghadafan are not like you . , the country is yours . Here is your money , sons and women . You can’t go abroad . Quriesh and Ghadafan came to fight Muhammad and his friends . You sustained them , but they are not like you . If they find a chance , they gain it , if otherwise , they go back home , leaving you alone with the man in your country . You can’t afford them . Don’t fight the people until you take a guarantee , a mortgage – from their lords so that you could be sure when you fight them .

- You gave us the right opinion .

They gave their word to Muhammad , but they betrayed and declared treason in public and cut off the paper contract .

When Naem came to them , they didn’t feel sorry for what they had done , they didn’t go to the messenger asking him for forgiveness , but they remained treacherous and accepted Naem ‘s opinion out of precaution and safety .

Naem went to Quriesh and said to Abu Sofian and his folk :

- You know my preference to you and my hatred to Muhammad . I’m told something I want to tell you about , hide what I say .

- We do , what is it ?

-You know that the Jews have remorsed what they did with Muhammad , they sent to him saying : we are sorry for what we did , Are you content to bring you from the two tribes - Quriesh and Ghadafan – some of their lords to strike their necks , then we stay with you to demolish the rest . Muhammad sent his approval . If they ask for ransom of men , don’t pay them any .

He went to Ghadafan and said and did the same thing .

On Saturday , Abu Sofian sent the Jews an envoy of Quriesh and Ghadafan presided by Akrema Ebn Abu Jahl , they said :

- prepare yourselves for the fight of Muhammad . The Jews said :

- Today is Saturday , we don’t work on . We won’t fight Muhammad with you until you give us a guarantee from your men . We are afraid if the war turned out to be too horrible , you may go back home and leave us to Muhammad alone .

Quriesh and Ghadafan were sure , by now that Naem was right . They answered Banu Qurieza back :

- We won’t give you any man from us . If you want to fight , go out for it . Banu Qurieza said :

- What Naem said was right .

Hoiei Ebn Akhtab was annoyed to see the difference of opinions between the coalition forces and Banu Qurieza .

He went to them persuading to fight Muhammad . They didn’t give him their consent ‘ they said to him :

- We won’t fight until they give us seventy men from Quriesh and Ghadafan . the disputes and the disappointment took place amid them . God blew a strong wind in a very cold night . . their tents and camps were turned over . their cooking pots were upside down and their bonfires were put out , the wind was yellow and sand filled their eyes .

The hypocrites came to take an excuse , they asked the messenger a permission to go back to their women and sons . He allowed them to go , on this night , there were only three hundred men with him . He was informed the disputes of the coalition . the messenger said :

- Isn’t there anyone who can go and see the people and come back again ? I ask god he may be with me in paradise .

Nobody replied because of fear of cold and hunger . Abu Bakr said :

- Messenger of Allah , Hoziefa . He said to him

- Why don’t you answer me ?

- Cold

- You won’t be cold until you come back , stand up .

Hoziefa stood up , the messenger said :

- If there is any news about the folk , tell me about it ?

- By God I ‘m not afraid to be killed , but I ‘m afraid to be captured .

- You won’t be captured . I beseech to you God to protect him between his hands , from behind , his right and left , from above and underneath him . When he was going , the messenger called him :

- Don’t throw an arrow nor a stone , don’t strike with a sword until you come back .

Hoziefa Ebn El yaman set out to the enemy camp while the wind was blowing ; cutting the tents ropes and turning their pots over , till he mixed with them , he heard Abu Sofian saying :

- You people , may everyone know who is sitting with . Be careful the spies and the eyes. Hoziefa was afraid to be recognized . He took the hand of the one who was sitting on his right and said :

- Who are you ?

- Mo’ awia Ebn Abu Sofian

He caught the hand of his left and said :

- who are you ?

- Amr Ebn El Uss .

Abu Sofian said :

- you people of Quriesh , by God , you are not in a good place . We have been in terrible conditions . We are at odds with Banu Qurieza , we are told what we hate from them , besides what we now find in this horrible storm , let’s go back home , I’m leaving . He got on his camel when Akrema Ebn Abu Jahl said :

- You are the head and leader of the people , you go and leave them behind ?

He was ashamed of what he did, he got off his camel and said :

- Go

Ghadafan heard what Quriesh did . the people in their camps said :

- departure , departure , no place for you here .

the storm threw them on their luggage and hit them with pebbles . When Hoziefa was certain that the coalition went back home , he went to the messenger , he found him praying , he told him the news , the messenger laughed .

Hoziefa felt cold again , he was shivering , the messenger approached and made him sleep . The messenger looked at the enemies’ camp , the coalition departed , he said :

- Now we conquer them , they don’t conquer us , we march to them .

God defeated the coalition alone after the believers were in despair and felt panic and were suspicious of Allah .

The messenger went back home , leaving the trench after fifteen terrible nights of siege ; after they had gone through a desperate situation . Some people were killed from the muslim side like Anass Ebn Awess Ebn Atteek from Banu Abd El Ashhal , killed by Khalid Ebn El Walid , Abdullah Ebn Sahl , Thalaba Ebn Attama Ebn Odei killed by Hobeira Ebn Wahb , Kab Ebn Zeid from Banu Dinar killed by Derar Ebn El Khatab , El Tofiel Ebn Noman and Saad Ebn Mo’az was hurt awfully .

From the idolaters’ part there were some causalities as Othman Ebn Omeiya from Banu Abd El Dar , Nofal Ebn Abdullah Ebn El Mogera , Amr Ebn Abd Wed and his son Hessel Ebn Amr.

The messenger reached El Medina at noon , he prayed Noon prayer , then he got to Aisha;s house , he asked for water to washed and the incense , On having relaxation and put down the weapon , he was called :

- Who excuses you warrior ?

The messenger was terribly frightened . He jumped outside and Aisha followed him , they found a man on board a beast , Aisha went back home , the messenger spoke to the man who was really Gabriel the angel , he said :

- Did you put down the weapon , messenger of Allah ?

- Yes .

- I didn’t put down the weapon .

How could Gabriel put down the weapon when Banu Qurieza violated the vow during the battle ? What they did was high treason; it was a conspiracy against the state , but for God blessing , the prophet of Islam and Islam would have been perished .

Gabriel said to the messenger :

- God order you to march to Banu Qurieza . I will go to destroy their fortifications

- My friends are tired , Won’t you wait for some days ?

- Go to them .

The messenger ordered Belal to call for the people : “ this who hears , he has to obey and pray the afternoon prayers at Banu Qurieza “ .

****** The Utopia of Muhammad in Medina ****

The glorious Quran descended on the messenger , he legislated to people their worship , their manners and led their economical , social and political lives . He planted in their souls a lenient creed governing their emotions . Religion turned to be the spirit of their community Quran turned to be the source of every motion and the radiation which lights the hearts and guide them to the route of direction to this world and the hereafter .

The divine law turned to be the rules and legislation the muslims follow , , the tribal community ; where individualism and abhorrence used to prevail , turned out to be an adherent nation , all of its sons full of spiritual vigilance which opened their hearts and filled them with the lights of faith , the springs of wisdom emerged in the hearts and transferred to the tongues and the behaviour .

The revelation of God managed in several years to build up an integral society . It had no childhood or youth , but rational manhood . It was made by God . The Book of Allah adjusted the believer’s thought atmosphere and overshadowed all aspects of conflict between Yathreb ( Medina ) was the location of the prostitutes where the youth and old men Arabian Peninsula set out to enjoy whores of the lords of El Awes and El Khazrag and the girls of the Jew .

Quran came to prohibit obscenity and blasphemy , these , were pulled down from Medina . The caravans used to bring wine from Levant . Every feast or session for the Arabs contained it . But God banned wine , this , was spilt in the roads. The society used to scorn women and some of the Arabs killed their baby girls . The woman didn’t have the right to possess properties or inherit them ; Quran legislated her rights back again . The rich didn’t imagine the poor have share and right in their fortunes . they didn’t bear in mind that they store God’s money and they are only guards . They accepted what God asked them to do without a conflict between the classes and without blood baths .

The messenger persuaded them to work and opened to them the doors of trade , he said ; “ nine tenth of earning is in trade “ . the freedom of work was opened to them without the fear of the dictatorship of money . God regulated the way how to behave in the fruit of work . God persuade the muslims to spend their money and imposed on the rich alms . God imposed the system of bequeathing to split the fortunes so as not to be piled up in the hands of few wealthy people , so , its message would be delayed .

The leader of the tribe had all the rule and sovereignty . He governs the people according to his whims or according to customs and traditions . When Islam came , its first foundation was the testimony of no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.

Islam nullified deity away from anybody else but Allah . People have only one God who has only the right of legislation and drawing the system of life to his creatures and that Muhammad is the witness of certification that prohibitions that came from Quran were brought from God .

They used not to approve the marriage of an honourable lady with a slave . They thought it was shameful and disgraceful . Meanwhile , God wants to establish the fact that all

People alike and they are from Adam , God ordered his messenger to marry his cousin Zeinab daughter of Gash , the honourable to his slave Zeid Ebn Haratha . When the messenger asked her folk to engage her to Zeid , they got angry , but God descended a verse saying “ No he or she believer if God and his messenger judged something , they have no choice . he who disobeys God and his messenger , he gets lost terribly “ .

Zeinab said “ we hear and obey what God and his messenger said “

She married Zeid Ebn Haratha . By so doing , she broke an arbitrary tradition which degraded the dignity of humanity .

Salman; the Persian stayed some days with Abu El Dardaa in one house , he used to pray all night and fast all day .Salman persuaded him not to all days except in Ramadan , Abu Dardaa said :

- You prevent me to fast and pray for God .

- Your eyes have right on you likewise your wife ; fast and break your fast , pray and sleep . the messenger was told about that he said :

-Salman has been saturated with science .

- Do good to who he did you harm . give to who he forbade you . forgive he who did injustice to you and visit those who abandoned you , you will be truly believer .

- Allah is pleased with three things to you :

To worship Allah and don't participate with him anything , to stick to Allah's rope all of you and never dissipate and advise your ruler " ..

The policy which the governors or rulers of the Muslims, to be nominated, was drawn in the Utopia. The ruler must look for the best people to work with him without any regard to kinship or friendship some people come messenger to be nominated as governors ,

He said:

- we don't nominate those who ask for it .

He told Abu Zar about the govern ship.

- It is an honesty, , it is on Doomsday shame and regret , except he who takes it with its right and did what he had to do . He said :

- If honesty is lost wait the Hour (the Doomsday).

- All of you are shepherds and all are responsible for his herd. The ruler who governs is a shepherd and responsible for his subjects. The woman in her husband's house is a shepherd and responsible for her herd. The boy is a shepherd to his father's money and responsible for his herd. And the slave is a shepherd to his master's money and responsible for his herd. All of you a shepherd and responsible for his herd .

He offered the leadership of wars to the brave strong man and the Judging to the knowest, the most pious and the efficient.

He put the foundation of the taxation and alms. He drew the policy of procuring alms and persuaded the Muslims to perform it. He said:

- The one who bans alms and Zakat is not Muslim. This who does not perform it has no prayers.

- The worker of procuring alms truly is like the conqueror for God's sake.

He was sleeping on a mattress filled with straw, wearing a shirt up to the half of his leg.

He was always smiling, his manners is soft. He was neither rough nor cruel heated man. He didn't shout, he didn't speak about the faults of people. He was shaking hands with the slaves and the boys He was kidding with the children and the old people.

He accepted the invitation of the free man, the slave, the woman and the poor. He was mending his slippers, milking his sheep, riding his donkey, sewing his clothes, grinding with the servant and eating with him, carrying his articles from the market, saluting the poor and the rich, mixing with his friends and talking with them merrily, and playing with their children.

He taught the immigrants.. Their women and the supporters.. Their wives how the virtuous life on earth can be. He explained the religious track for life . He changed their souls by the good example and the good recommendations. He filled the souls with pride, dignity and good manners; he prevented them from that destructive bitter vacuum; the fruit of sensational joy, the hollowness of life, the spiritual sterility and loose liberal manners which abide in the bosom of vice for moments, then becoming captive to the whims and evils.

The Islamic spirit was prevailing in Medina and his friends look at him carefully and listen to him attentively. He is the lighthouse of the humanity and the good paragon to those who hope for Allah and the Doomsday. The messenger, everyday, is flooding with humanity, teaching them lessons in the cleanliness of the matrimonial life , the sublime of fatherly love , the compassion of the ruler ;his strict justice and the fair judgment in the efficacy of the leader , the submissiveness of the worshipper, in mingling life with the Hereafter and join earth with Heavens . He made work a kind of worshipping. He didn't approve piling up fortunes and usury. What happened in the financial banks of the world, the bankruptcy of banks is a war from God against usury.
